In an era where cybersecurity threats evolve with daunting speed and complexity, the role of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) has become more critical than ever. As organizations grapple with the challenge of securing foundational infrastructure, including managing encryption, CISOs are on the front lines, ensuring that digital assets remain secure against increasingly sophisticated threats. 

With this backdrop, we are excited to announce the formation of SandboxAQ’s CISO Council, a strategic assembly of cybersecurity expertise to steer the next wave of innovation in cryptographic management. This elite group has been handpicked for their extensive cybersecurity knowledge to guide the roadmap for SandboxAQ's Security Suite and to engage in strategic conversations with other leaders in the cybersecurity community.

Three of the founding members are well-known experts in the field of cybersecurity: 

• Taher Elgamal, “the father of SSL;” a seasoned industry leader with a deep background in cryptography and cybersecurity
• Teresa Shea, renowned for her strategic leadership in the intelligence community and advocacy for advancement in the field of cryptography and cybersecurity.
• Steven Ramsden, CISO of The Global Fund and 2023 recipient of Swiss CISO of the Year, whose expertise in information security has made a tremendous impact in the field across a wide range of geographies 

The council will include several additional CISOs selected from partners, customers, and distinguished contributors to the field.
