The Job

Following a recent fundraising round on the back of strong market confirmation and the signing of a number of key deals, we are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to support our sales process as we acquire new customers and expand our deployments with existing customers.

As our first pre-sales engineer you will provide technical expertise during the sales process. This includes demonstrating the capabilities of our product, helping customers to define their needs, and ensuring the success of the deployment.

What you'll do

Drawing on your experience of enterprise IT environments, you will be responsible for supporting prospects throughout the sales process, including: 

  • Ensuring they develop a clear understanding of the capabilities of our product and the advantages of cryptography lifecycle management;
  • Assisting them in defining their needs and the scope of their project;
  • Building good relationships with technical members of their team to enable fluid communication and make sure that all stakeholder needs are being met;
  • Helping them to overcome any technical issues that could hinder a successful PoV or deployment; 
  • Designing and running the PoV deployment, agreeing success criteria, and providing technical expertise throughout the PoV process.  

About you 

Ideally you will have: 

  • At least 6 years of experience as a direct or channel sales engineer selling enterprise software;  
  • A solid knowledge of enterprise software deployment, and some knowledge of cryptography deployed in IT; 
  • Excellent presentation skills in English, both oral and written;
  • The empathy, tenacity and tact needed to guide technical people to the best solution for them, even when it’s not the one they originally envisioned.

You will be highly motivated by customer success and enjoy knowing that you have helped customers to control the cryptography that secures their sensitive data. 

You will enjoy preparing and delivering presentations to customers that explain exactly how Cryptosense technical capabilities respond to their needs and can be integrated in their environment.
